Citronella Essential Oil (Cymbopogan nardus)
Citronella is an uplifting, calming, and cooling essential oil, best known for its use as an insect repellent. Try blending it with bergamot, eucalyptus, and/or lavender, in a spray bottle full of water (shake before use). It has a strong, fresh, sweet lemon aroma.

Aromatherapy Uses
Nervous: depression, anxiety, fatigue, headaches, migraine.
Skin: insect repellent, excessive perspiration and oily skin, cellulite.
Digestive: stomach upsets, nausea, vomiting, cramps, colic.
Immune: colds, flu, fevers, ringworm, athlets’s foot, fungal nail infections, fleas, insects, pests.
Muscular/skeletal: arthritis pain, neuralgia, sprains, strains, tired legs, muscle fatigue from exercise.
Reproductive: period pain, stimulates milk flow.
Citronella is a top note essential oil and blends well with cedarwood, bergamot and other citrus oils, eucalyptus, geranium, lavender, peppermint, pine, rosemary, and tea tree. It is made through steam distillation of the fresh, partly dried, or dried grass.
