Tea Tree Pure Essential Oil (Melaleuca alternifolia)
Tea Tree is an invigorating, stimulating, and warming essential oil, strongly antifungal and bactericidal and therefore excellent for treating many infections. It is very useful for treating skin infections, wounds, and cuts where a small amount can be applied neat. Tea Tree essential oil has a penetrating warm camphorous aroma, quite medicinal.

Did you know?
Tea Tree has been used by Aboriginal peoples for millennia for treating cuts, wounds, and skin infections. They crush the leaves and make a poultice for the affected part, covering it with warm mud. Captain Cook revealed it to the rest of the world in the 18th century and it was given to soldiers in the Second World War as part of their first aid kit.
