Geranium Pure Essential Oil (Pelargonium graveolens)

Geranium is a very calming and balancing essential oil, one of the best oils for eliminating toxins and general congestion within the body. It has a fresh floral aroma with a hint of mint or ‘greenness’.

Aromatherapy Uses

Nervous: anxiety, nervous fatigue, neuralgia, restlessness, Raynaud’s, integrates mind and body.
Skin: acne, excess oil, dehydration, wounds, burns, broken capilleries, impetigo.
Digestive: diarrhoea, flatulence, colitis, jaundice, diabetes, detoxifies liver, pancreas, gall bladder.
Circulatory: poor circulation, cleanses blood, cellulite, fluid retention, oedema.
Immune: tonsillitis.
Muscular-skeletal: rheumatism, swellings, stiffness, pain.
Endocrine/Reproductive: breast congestion, candida, painful periods, pmt.
Urinary: cystitis, kidney stones.

Geranium is a middle note essential oil and blends well with bergamot and other citrus oils, jasmine, juniper, patchouli, rose, and sandalwood. It is made through steam distillation of leaves and flowers.
