Neroli (Orange Blossom) Pure Essential Oil (Citrus aurantium amara)

Neroli essential oil is very calming and revitalising, an excellent choice for countering emotional upset and trauma, and also for rejuvenating aging skin. It has a beautiful intense floral aroma, with a hint of citrus.

Kathryn Anne Neroli Essential Oil comes in a 2.5, 5 or 10ml glass amber bottle (depending on the amount ordered) with a black screw top lid that includes a dropper.

Aromatherapy Uses

Nervous: anxiety, depression, tension, stress, shock, hysteria, low self-esteem – peace inducing.
Skin: mature/sensitive skin, scars, stretch marks, wrinkles, broken veins, protection from radiography burns.
Digestive: diarrhoea, colic, wind, nervous indigestion, diabetes, liver, pancreas.
Respiratory: bronchitis, TB.
Circulatory: poor circulation, lowers blood pressure, palpitations, phlebitis, varicose veins.
Reproductive: menopause, pmt.

Neroli is a base note essential oil and blends well with most oils especially citrus oils, clary sage, frankincense, geranium, lavender, and sandalwood. It is made through steam distillation of the blossom of the bitter (Seville) orange tree. Due to the number of flowers needed to make Neroli essential oil it is considered precious and is expensive.

Did you know?

The name comes from the Italian Countess of Neroli, Anne Marie, who used the oil to perfume her gloves and bathing water. Neroli is an important ingredient in eau de cologne, and in Grasse, Provence, the flowers are traditionally candied.
